Inteliace Research specialises in tailored research and consulting for clients in financial services sector in Poland, CEE and Europe. We help clients understand their customers, their competitors and the dynamics of various markets.

Inteliace Research / Elepton

Inteliace Research is part of Elepton Sp. z o.o., an independent and privately owned company based in Warsaw, Poland — the heart of Central and Eastern Europe. Elepton serves leading European financial institutions alongside companies from other sectors.

By combining management consulting with tailored research, we help clients decide on evidence rather than assumption. We have done so without interruption since 2005.

Leadership

Marcin Mazurek — Founder. Before setting up Inteliace Research, Marcin spent six years as a senior research analyst at McKinsey & Company, responsible for knowledge management and for client consulting and research across financial services (banking, asset management, insurance), retail trade and FMCG.

Earlier, in 1998–1999, he worked in the strategy office of the German HypoVereinsbank, where he assisted in the due diligence and acquisition of BPH bank in Poland.

Marcin comments regularly on the Polish banking and insurance markets for the business press.

Our clients

We provide professional services to clients across financial services — banks, asset managers and insurance companies — as well as to management consulting firms working on studies in the same sectors. Since 2005 we have served more than 75 clients, including several of The Banker’s top world banks.

Client A — Large European banking group
The client’s ambition was to grow quickly in Poland’s retail banking market. Our work combined desk research, data analysis, expert interviews and mystery shopping, and was delivered as a presentation to the management team.
Client B — Local bank in Romania
The bank needed to understand current market dynamics, the competitive situation and plausible future scenarios. We supplied our standard Romanian banking report, extended with additional analysis answering the client’s specific questions.
Client C — International management consulting firm
The client asked for advanced analysis of selected CEE insurance markets. We gathered, structured and analysed the data, and delivered it as structured data sheets.
